Design Approaches
Sustainable Ethos
Within industrial and product design, I am drawn to designing with life in mind. To me, sustainable design extends beyond the materials of a products final outcome.

I do not utilize AI in researching, ideating, or final renders. I do not support the use of AI in creative fields
Inclusive Design
The primary focus when designing a product should be its intended users. While these users can be quite specific, I believe in continuously exploring the potential audience and the essential skills needed to interact with the design. By selecting diverse groups of individuals to design for and involving them in the design process, we can ensure that the outcomes remain successful and unbiased. Making products for people with ability differences is important but I find it is more important to design products that do not single them out.
Life Centered Design
This approach considers all interdependent needs of a diverse ecosystem. Knowing that all life is connected is essential to decentralizing human needs for a holistic approach in working against changing climate. Considering the circularity of a product's life and its materials is a great first step to designing sustainably.
How can we contribute to a thriving future for all living?
Design Thinking
Using human-centered design, I'm versed in wide-reaching research methods to catalog ideas as well as prototype quickly and receive feedback from users.

DISCOVER + DEFINE+ TRANSLATE + COMMUNICATE

Quality of the research directly impacts the quality of the project. I focus on innovation that can be found at the center of Desirability, Feasibility, Viability, and sustainability
Discursive Designs
I am confident in using blank blank blank in starting research and user research.
Design something!
I am comfortable using many digital platforms to create high fidelity visualizations of designs and graphics. My current skills include, but are not limited to, Adobe Suite, Figma, Rhino, Miro, to create 2D and 3D designs supporting the ideation and final renderings of works.

I prefer creating sketches and early ideation traditionally with paper and recyclable materials.
